Categories of Membership
According to the Constitution of the Library Association of Trinidad and Tobago (LATT) there are several categories of membership available including:
- Personal
- Institutional
- Associate
- Student
- Honorary
- Corresponding
- Retired
Please refer to pages 4-6 and 21-22 of the Constitution for guidelines on eligibility to the various membership categories and descriptions of the associated rights and privileges.
Membership subscription rates
Membership subscription rates are as follows:
- Personal – TTD$ 200.00
- Institutional – TTD$ 400.00
- Associate – TTD$ 100.00
- Student – TTD$ 50.00
- Honorary – Waived
- Corresponding – USD$ 50.00
- Retired – TTD$ 50.00
Membership fees for new members are not payable until official notice of approval of application for membership has been communicated. Upon approval, an invoice will be issued along with payment options.

Standing Committees
The Constitution of the Library Association of Trinidad and Tobago (LATT) provides for the formation of a number of Standing Committees. These Committees assist LATT with the planning and execution of its activities and events, and include:
- Constitution and Legal Standing Committee
- Editorial Standing Committee
- Education and Research Standing Committee
- Finance and Management Standing Committee
- Public Relations and Membership Standing Committee
- Nomination Standing Committee

Special Interest Groups
The Constitution of the Library Association of Trinidad and Tobago (LATT) provides for the formation of Special Interest Groups. A Special Interest Group is a group of LATT members who share an interest in a specific theme or subject area related to the library and information profession, which organises meetings for informal discussion of topics of mutual interest and sharing of experience.
